The project investigates the possibilities of an architecture for the huge developments that are shaping the trasportation of Indian cities. Indian’s complex democracy needs an architecture able to combine commercial efficiency and modernity with generosity and consent. Without claiming to have found any “ultimate” language, our proposal explores an unusual configuration for this massive residential development in the Chembur area.
