IGINIO MASSARI ROME

The project is in the historic Galleria Alberto Sordi in the historic center of Rome. The intervention is developed on two floors, in the basement there is the laboratory for the preparation of sweets and technical spaces while on the ground floor there is the sales space with the large display counter that becomes the beating heart of the entire space. Visible from the outside through the large windows facing the gallery, it becomes the heart of the entire space, inviting passersby to enter and discover the offerings. The project aims to make the brand's style recognizable from the outside while respecting the aesthetic lines of the gallery, a historic and iconic place in Rome, and at the same time create a distinctive, elegant and precious environment inside. Characteristic is the wooden coffered ceiling that originates from the wall shelving used for product display. An elegant solution that creates continuity and sophistication in the space. The ceiling "light bubbles" add a scenic look and help create the right atmosphere, playing with light to enhance the product. The layout of the spaces is designed to ensure an optimal view of the products. The pastry and bar corner is emphasized, as is merchandising, which becomes an essential element of the shopping experience. The use of high-quality materials, attention to detail in lighting and in the arrangement of elements ensure that the environment is not only elegant, but also conveys a sense of luxury and uniqueness, perfect for a business related to the world of high-class pastry. The overall result is a perfect balance between modern functionality and respect for the historic environment in which the store is set.
